Curious question is there any way to adjust the timer for the manager it's shutting off after 5 minutes and I was hoping to adjust it for maybe 30 minutes so I don't have to keep resigning on

I always uncheck that box. To me that is a very annoying feature on my laptop as a vendor .

This has a preset of (5 mins) on my Manager 9.1 no option to change the time

But did you UNTICK THE BOX..

THAT DISABLES IT.

Also Run manager as Administrator..to make some changes

You may want to look at the backup on send check box too. I think it was around R9 that the turned that off by default. It can be very handy to have a backup incase you fat finger something and don't know what it is.

I actually want to use them timer feature but be able to change it to 30 mins.

Theoretically you could use the Release 11.1 Manager to manage your 9.1 system. I say theoretically because I wouldn't, not unless absolutely necessary because I had for some reason a mix of 9.1 and 11.1 systems.

The longshot would be to hope that the 5 minutes was already written as a registry setting in Manager 9.1 and so can be changed with regedit.

[ul]
[li]Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Avaya\IP400\Manager\ApplicationTimeoutMinutes[/li]
[li]Type: REG_DWORD[/li]
[li]Value Data: 1e <=30 in hex.[/li]
[li]Base: Hexadecimal.[/li]
[/ul]

If its not there, try adding it, you never know.
