Hi,

CR Version : 2008
CR Active X Viewer 11
Oracle Version : 9.0.2.0.5

I have a report based on a stored procedure which works fine with Oracle 10.2.

When we try to run the report on an Oracle 9 db, we get an empty Database Connector Error ( looks like: Database Connector Error '' ) after entering the parameters.

Any tips ? I'm stuck!

Thanks!

Hi,
Does the SP in 9 have the same name ( fully qualified ?) as the one in 10, are the permissions and user the same?

Did you create a new report or just re-point the existing one?

Hi turkbear, Thanks for you reply.

No, I did not create a new report. The db name and structure is identical for both versions of Oracle.
The permissions and user is also the same.

Hi,
One more question ( right, they all say that )..

Can you execute the SP in SqlPlus in both versions using that user account?

The procedure creates and poulates a temp table which is deleted at the end. Havent tried to execute it in SQL+ on the 9.0.2 version.

Will try! Thanks!

Hi again,

I have now tried to run the procedure in both versions - no problems at all.
