Has anyone out there seen one yet?

I've had a 1 day course on the switch and wondering if anybody has installed one yet.

For those that haven't, the eMG80 is a replacement for the aria 24IP,LDK60 and LDK50/130 though not up to 130 ports.

It has some VOIP line/IP phone limitations but otherwise looks like a good option.

I have some samples but I am not sure if we will sell eMG80 in the future.

On our last product forum in 2012 we raised the issues of VoIP channel capacity but looks like they did not consider it.

Thats right Chamvari.

2 VOIP channels are free and you can license up to 16.And if you install IP phones you really need 1 channel per phone.

That doesn't look likely to change

Just installed one recently.

The programming is similar to the iPECS MFIM (LIK)but a bit more logical and the GUI is much better.

As a hybrid, the ability to use the new LDP9000 phones made the pricing much more advantageous compared to the LIK series and the other manufacturers we use, but the number of included VoIP channels is low. You can add channels to beef up the IP and voicemail capacity, but if you are all IP we would probably go LIK or Unify OS Biz.

Overall, I like it and we are quoting more on smaller projects with existing telephone cabling or where VoIP is not a priority.
