Hi,

As a company we are going to loose our ADSL connection for a few days. We have a citrix network set up with a remote branch over VPN on the ADSL.

I will probably be laughed off but what is the chance of temporarily setting up a citrix server to serve this branch over a dialup modem?

I know it will be painfully slow and the connection would kep dropping out but is it possible?

It's possible, but you are going to have to severely limit the number of users, and possible even schedule them to have "turns" using the server.

Every session would need about 15-20kbps to run fine. So start calc.exe and see how many sessions you can serve using your dial-up connection. I would consider using a double ISDN connection which would give you 128kpbs max. That's about 6-7 sessions :) You should see it as a very temporary situation :)
