I am trying to get Emergency calls sent via email. My IP Office is at a R9 and I have Voice Mail Pro. Voice Mail to email works fine when leaving a message at an Extn. why will it not work on system events?

do other system events get emailed? The system and VMPro use separate email settings.

I belive you need to configure the SMTP settings in manager under System/SMTP.

Configuration Settings

· IP Address: Default = 0.0.0.0
This field sets the IP address of the SMTP server being used to forward SNMP alarms sent by email.

after playing with it at the office. I found that you have to use ARS. when you access a trunk directly the emergency feature is bypassed. if anyone finds away this and has made it work by using direct truck I am still interested in knowing how.

I just set "Dial Emergency" as the feature and select the line group and it works for me, in fact you can't select an ARS when using that feature (not in UK locale anyway) :)
