Emergency Call

I have programmed a button on one of the Hotel soft button phones as emergency number. I want to achieve this...... when an emergency call is initiated and all the Operators are busy on call...... I want the emergency call to over-ride the on-going calls with the operators.

Please..... How do I achieve this on Mitel 3300 MXeIII. Thanks
 
The emergency function is designed as a notification NOT as an end point. The call is supposed to proceed to emergency services. Regardless, there is nothing on the phone system that would perform as you have requested.

Certain hotel brand standards dictate that a dedicated emergency phone with a display be installed at a hotel. The purpose of the phone is for it to ring only when a 911 calls is placed from inside the hotel. Outbound calls from it are forbidden by the brand standards. If someone is on the console and someone in the hotel dials 911, the Alarm button programmed on the dedicated emergency phone will begin to make one hell of a racket. This may meet your needs.

It's easy to program on an SX200 ICP AX. Only certain IP phone models (5340e, 5330e, 5324) can be programmed with an Alarm button. There may be other IP phone models but I'm not aware of them off the top of my head. I use the 5324s because their cheaper than the 40 or 30. I think I've set this same feature up on a MiVoice Business/3300 but I can't recall. I'll have to check my records to confirm.
 
Emergency Call Notification would be the corresponding feature on a 3300/MCD/MiVoice Business. Set up a hunt group or ring group with a type "Emergency", set the COS for the sets in that group to allow emergency call notification, program a key on the sets to acknowledge the notifications, and flag your route the emergency call hits as "Emergency".
