EMCO Remote Desktop 1.0

I have installed the evaluation copy of EMCO Remote Desktop 1.0, and when i try to connect to other computers on my network i get these errors.

could not copy file c:\program files\EMCO Remote Desktop 1.0\Required\NetServerHook.DLL to \\Computer Name\c$\Winnt\system32\netserver.dll


then i get this error.

Could not upgrade netserver service netserver service running protocol 18.65024 needs to be version 7.1 error"

I don't know what to do I tried to stop and restart netserver service but that does not work. can anyone helpme with this issue.

use VNC tightVNC if you're security concerned

yea i use vnc also. but i am interested in knowing what this problem is caused by. and how to fix it.
