Can any one help.
I am seeing aserv time on EMC disks of 344.8 milliseconds instead of approx 50 milliseconds with just one application running on the Server. Has anyone come across
this issue. Can any one suggest causes or remedies?

Thanks in advance.
Phil

What do you have for a server, which model EMC, fiber or SCSI?

What type of EMC are you on. WHat is the disk size and splits. What applications are using this space.

I have seen excessive disk delays in raid5 sets with drives of mixed part number in a Clariion FC4500. All were 10k 36GB FC disks, and according to emc, were direct substitutes for each other, but navi analyser showed 7 disks running fine, at about 10% util and 20 ms access delay, but 2 disks were at 100% and over 100ms access.
Swapped the 2 disks with 2 for the same p/n as the other and this fixed it.
