Anyone know how to check to see when the last dial-home action happened. Just trying to verify EMC is being notified of a drive failure instead of having to call the SAC every time I get a alert. TIA-

There is not a way that I know of but your CE has access to an application to list dial-homes for all your equipment. They can tell you if dial home is working correctly.

Hi driddickemc,
under ECC 5.2 in the alert def policy, you can enabled the call-home alert.

Chris

You might want to check the log files located in "Program Files\EMC\Navisphere Agent\Conhome" there should be a log directory and a files directory also a failed directory. You can scan these logs and directories for errors or failed dial-homes.

Are you referring to Dial Home from a Symmetrix DMX? Celerra?
