Hi,
am using IPO 8.0 with ana trunk, if i call to an extn it will got to the voicemail(Embedded voicemail-IP Office mode) and it plays the announcement like there is no one avialable to attent your call please record your message after the tone, immediatly after this announcement call get disconnected, i am not able to record my message. can anyone help me to solve this? please.

See what's happening in Sys Mon> trace embedded.

Restart embedded using a button or short code.

Reboot IP500.

Recreate SD card if sys mon shows embedded corruption. Embedded fires up a few seconds after a reboot.

Kids, Kids, It's Avaya. You're both right.

hi, thanks for the replay
"Restart embedded using a button or short code" How do i do this. what is the short code to do this?
if i recreate SD card, it will effect to the License? because its running at customer side. please help.

If you recreate it will default everything

Best you do a backup first obviously

I'd get someone who has done this before if you go that route

Have you tried rebooting the whole thing though?

Your SD card might be full. You can use system status to check disk space. If you are not sure on how to check that, you can take the SD card and plug it into your PC and check it that way.
You might have no choice but to recreate the SD card.

A recreat will not default the system, only a format will do that. In fact recreating is a good way to upgrade your system a bit quicker :)

Hey...amriddle01 would you elaborate on how recreating is a good way to upgrade the system please. [shadeshappy]

because when you wnat to upgrade then install the newest manager an just upgrade the card in your pc, plug it back in the ipo, reboot and voila, upgrade complteted

A simple mind delivers great solutions

i have checked the system status and it says 2280 MB free space is there. however there is an alarm saying voicemail storage full. recreate the SD card will solve the problem?
