Hello there,

We have a Mitel 3300 currently on 10.1.1.11_2.

We are using the embedded voicemail system and having the Voicemails forwarded onto internal email addresses.

The forwarding is working, but since the latest Microsoft Office updates, the emails are now going to junk.

Is there a way to change the email address that the Mitel controller uses to send the emails, currently they are <username>@<mitel 3300 name>. I would like to change it to Voicemail@<companyname>.

Is there a way to do this with the embedded VM or would I need NuPoint to do this?

Many thanks in advance,

Lee.

Why not just right click on a mail in the receivers box and click on JUNK and then click on not junk?

Thanks for the reply,

If only it were that easy.

When you try to add the sender to the safe senders list Outlook gives an error stating the the address is in a non standard format ie. name@name.com so it cannot create a rule for it, so it will alwys bin it off.
Hence why I need to change the address, as it is currently name@name

access systems options form and change the "senders email address

Hi James,

Thanks for responding.

I already looked at that, but it is only for reporting and alerts from the system. Changing this address does not affect the VM emails that come out

thanks anyway,

Lee
