Hey,

I followed this tutorial,
Setup the recording as Announcement 1 and changed the extension after.

Now when I call this extension, all I get is the beep-beep sound as if there is no music on hold setup. And I'm guessing once the Announcement time ends the music on hold starts playing.

When I ran the Monitor app.

I get this message in there:

380148mS Sip: SIPDialog f51971d0 deleted, dialogs 2
380633mS PRN: FlashA: Failed to Convert File: NPASS[Kancela1].clp

Why is it failing to convert it?

Thanks.

Why did you change the extn afterwards.

If you are using announcement 1 for a hunt group then you need to save it as the same name of the hunt group.

If you change the name afterwards then the announcement doesn't know what to play.

By changing the extension I meant the file extension from .c11 to .clp.

It has the exact same name as the hunt group.

You should not change the file extension to .clp and it is a bad idea to use non alphabetical characters in the file name.
It never fails for me so you are doing something wrong.

I followed the tutorial as written here:

I tried again without the brackets. And it didn't work as well.

Should I let the file be .c11? Because the link above specifically says to rename it to .clp.

If the link above is incorrect. Can you please tell me the correct way to do it?

1 The .wav file MUST be PCM/uncompressed, 8Khz, 16bit and mono
2. Start the LVM Greeting Utility
3. Select the .wav file with the Input selector
4. In the Output field select where to save the output file, select a name, the file extension MUST be .c11
5. Select the output type
a. Auto Attendant
b. Announcemant 1
c. Announcemant 2
d. Greeting
e. Name
6. Enter the recording name (Case sensitive), the name MUST be fully equal to the AutoAttendant, group or user name which the recording is to be used for
7. Select G.711 as the recording format
8. click OK
9. Locate the new created .c11 file and upload it on the SD card in the folder System\dynamic\lvmail\AAG
10. In SSA shutdown the SD card and when shutdown start it again
11. Wait a minute and then test the recording
