Has anyone found a solution or a cause for embedded voicemail missing bits of audio as I have a customer that takes orders via voicemail and it randomly chops important bits of the messages out.

Have updated to the most recent version 9 maintenance release (9.0.11.0.1003) and re-formatted and re-created the SD card but the system is still doing it. From other threads I have looked at this has being going on for years and there does not seem to be any replies or solutions from Avaya that I can find.

Customer is on Analogue lines but don't think this makes a difference as others have mentioned the issues and there customers were on SIP lines.

If it is important then use VM Pro, the "Pro" is not there to just make a statement.
And tbh I do think analogue lines have their influence as we only use digital lines and we never ever had this problem

Well unless Avaya is going to upgrade them to Professional edition for free I don't see why the customer should be paying a lot of money to fix a fault with the system. They never had voicemail issues like this on there old Panasonic phone system that was using the same phone lines.

Give them a ring then, good luck with that. They really don't care :)

I had this issue happen recording auto attendant greetings with no lines hooked up to the system so I do not believe it has anything to do with lines.
