Embedded Voicemail - Announcements

Hy there.

I have a customer with an IP Office 500 6.0(18).

They use the embedded voicemail.

The personal greeting announcement of one user suddenly disappered.

So we tried to record a new one. We could record / save and hear the new announcement. But when we logged in again to the voicemail the announcement wasn't there.

Does anyone know why?

turn off the IPO.
Take the card out.
Format it in a pc / laptop with Manager (important you use manager)
re-create the card
insert, power off, generate the prompt again.

Is there no other possibility?

Any file thats links the user to the announcement file?

Have you edited the users name at all while doing this?

Yes i think i edited it.

If you change the name then you might find that this is why you cannot now find the recording. It will be associated to the old name. Do a new test recording and see if it stays there this time.

As mentioned above i already did this but it didn't work... :-(

Are you saving it correctly? After you have pressed 2 to stop recording you then need to press 3 to confirm it and make it live, people often don't do the last bit
