what all do i need to program for voice mail to email.

go to the smtp tab on the system record and hit f1. you will need the exchange server ip address port and authentication details

thanks Tommills, However i did the settings on the manager and still no luck..
i have programed the smtp settings on manager. system_smtp

more importantly did you reboot the switch when you added the SMTP settings or just merge it back?

when its working you should see a string of messages telling you how many bytes were streamed to the SMTP server

Yes, i am using a yahoo account and also switch it to a comcast account neither one worked.

Can you send system events to that e-mail address?
If so then the e-mail connection is ok.
I have had a similar problem and re-installing all the emb.vm message system files solved the problem.
There seemed to be a file somewere used for vm to email which was missing.
Do NOT format the card, if you do then youre gone.
