I have a few IPO 500 V2 systems running 9.1.5 essentials mode with embedded voice mail. The vm copy feature works ok for messages around 30 to 40 seconds but is unreliable if message is over 60 seconds. Original message is ok but after copied to another ext, is either cut off or does not play at all. Thanks in advance

I think you have to listen to the entire message before copying then it works. You can't just press 1 when you know whom the message is for and enter the destination mailbox

Also give the forward some time to complete before deleting the message.

Did you know?
If they name the hurricane after you, you have to pay for the damage.

I think he means the automatic forward or copy function.

Maybe the email is to big when the message is over 40 seconds.

One minute is approx 1MB data.

Make sure you are allowed to send this emails.

More info on the problem:
Problem is when user copies the vm from one phone to another. Client is not using voice mail to email
User listens to entire message first then copies the message to another user. Message is delivered to user, then deleted from original vm box. Waiting 24h before deleting the original VM did not fix the problem either
I have formatted and re created sd card(s), replaced SD(s) card and V2 chassis-did not fix the problem

Thanks in advance

have you tried to record a header message before you copy the message to another mailbox? somewhere I read this was a bug of some sort

Yes, you cannot copy without recording a header message first. Just record a few seconds of dead air, then end the recording, then when prompted enter the extension number to copy it to.
