Hey everyone. weird issue just started happening recently with no known(or admitted) changes to the system configs.

Calling a DID which is coming in via SIP trunks. after the appropriate number of rings I hear the users voicemail greeting but then when i hear the tone to leave a message the call drops.

Anyone seen this before? i cant for the life of me figure out what the heck is going on here.

I have seen this before and i really think that the card is full.
Use system status and go to "voicemail" and then "mailboxes"
Check how many there are.
Also check "system" -> "memory cards" -> "system SD"
It will show you how many space is used on it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

oh boy not the first time you've helped me out TL

your right I see there are a bunch of voicemails.

There are a total of 417 voicemails system wide across 32 mailboxes. The SD card says it has 2662MB of free space and it sia 4096MB card

Question now is how can i delete messages. there are some users with 60+ messages. Is there a way i can delete the mailbox and recreate it thus deleting all those messages? i just did a quick search and the only way i can find to bulk erase is with DTE and i am not onsite.

Thanks again.

EDIT
"oh and how do you like that. In systm Status there is a section called alarms with a little yellow triangle thingy. It says voicemail storage full."

I mean come on who puts a yellow icon for a critical message, no one looks at yellow alarms. only red ones.

Hahah clearly it is 3am here and i am not paying attention i should have caught that before i posted. Sorry TL

It is with DTE onsite or kick some user ass :)

You could ofcourse also delete the user :)
Then it should remove the voicemail messages.
But better is to teach the users to listen to those messages and delete them.

I deleted a few users and put them back in. Voicemail is working again.

Tommorrow I will have to beat my users.

Thanks
