Does anyone one know how to make 4.1.9 play the actual Night greeting on embedded...not just the freaking menu? the other greetings work fine, just not the night...
TIA

If your using the Day/night Greetings you need to tie them to time profiles so they go into effect at the proper times. I do not create a Menu greeting if i am using the Day/Night greetings, not positive but i think it may interfere with day/night greetings working properly as well.

Yeppers, I have time profiles set. All the other greetings play just fine along with the menu options. It's just the night (and yes it has been recorded) that never plays the greeting, just the menu options GRRR....IP500 R 4.1.9
Any other ideas out there? I did see several pervious posts to this same issue, but no resolutions.....help a lady out here guys

Do I then just record the entire greeting/menu for each greeting in the aa? Will my options still work that way?

I usually only use the Menu options greeting and create separate AA's for the different times of day.

NO workiy :(

jduplift- that's what I have going, but the greeting portion for the Night won't play. only the menu does (which is the same for all greetings as it it only one aa) HELP!

Hey Provider,
No manual switching needed. I have my time profiles set M-F 7-4 morning/afternoon accordingly and all other times closed. Open hours works great plays morning/afternoon (8101 & 8201)greetings and the menu(8401). Problem is when it's night, it doesn't play (8301), it goes straight to 8401?

dj-if I knew how to post one sure. other wise it goes like this

OpenAM 7:00AM to 11:59AM M-F (*8101)

OpenPM 12:00PM to 4:00PM M-F (*8201)

Closed Sat & Sun 12:00AM to 11:59PM (*8301)
M-F 4:01PM to 11:59PM

your times look all over the place jeep lady!

"OpenAM 7:00AM to 11:59AM M-F (*8101)

OpenPM 12:00PM to 4:00PM M-F (*8201)

Closed Sat & Sun 12:00AM to 11:59PM (*8301)
M-F 4:01PM to 11:59PM
M-F 12:00AM to 6:59PM"

*8101 should be 07:00 to 11:59 m-f
*8201 should be 12:00 to 16:00 m-f
*8301 should be 00:00 to 23:59 s&s

if you want to record the menu with nothing (which I do sometimes) do the *8401 but press the mute button and record nothing for about 5 or 6 seconds.

good luck and keep jeepin!

Taker, thanks! One thing tho...if I do as you suggested then where do they go m-f when the office is closed? From my undersatnding if there is not time, then it defaults the calls to the first greeting which won't work in this case.

if there is no time profile for the intro part then it doesn't play it goes straight to the menu part.

If you are a bit stuck with only 3 greetings then I suggest you create another AA and route the calls to this AA for Night Mode, so in incoming call route - Night Mode to AA#2.

create a time profile 24/7 which is *8101 on this AA#2.

Is this all just so they have an outgoing message but AA options? I am wondering why you don't use the Group Mailbox for night mode.

because they are actually using the aa/selector codes so the greeting by it self won't work. I'll try what you suggest with the second aa & let you know. I am headed out on a call for now.

Thanks Taker :)
