When I export a whole publication to PDF from Indesign it comes up an error that this font can't be embedded beacause of the licensing of the font. Any solution?

The font is embedded in a placed graphic. Go back to the placed graphic and outline the font.

Thank You. It was actually a placed Illustrator file, but you mean to tell that I have to go to every placed file and outline it, this will take some time, and this is a magazine.

Thank You
Mechel

You are using a font that has some licensing restrictions on it that prevents re-embedding in a PDF.

There are a few solutions...

First of all, make sure that the font is correctly installed on your machine. This may be the simple fix.

1) use a version of Acrobat that is too ancient to recognize font licensing. Print from ID to a PostScript file and then distill in Acrobat 3. This is a risky idea.

2) replace that font with a similar font that does allow re-embedding. You may need to select from another font publisher. Fonts replaced in Illustrator may reflow and tweaking will still be needed.

Well there is of course another solution:

Change the fstype field in the font trough an appropriate software. I think, that if you legally buyed the font you have a right to do, and if not, you would not care...

I have a Win System so this software worked very well.
¨Font creator 4 from high-logic. Open the font, go to format/settings/general and there you can change the font embedding properties.

Save it, and it will work fine in indesign..

While I cannot comment on the reckless ideology of Sachakun in regards to dealing with intellectual property, I have another legal yet effective option...

When you saved your Illustrator files, you chose to embed the font. This is why PDF export is choking on re-embedding. You should be able to fix this problem by simply resaving your EPS/AI files without embedding the font. Outlining text may not be needed after all. Saving EPS/AI files without embedded fonts will result in smaller files sizes.

Regarding your corrupted font that does not work at all... simply reinstall it from the backup you made or from your font publisher's original.
