Hello can anybody help me please ...

I'm developing a site for a firm at the moment and have developed a javascipt dropdown menu ... my problem is that it reaches down and into the space of the page where I want a flash movie running... now it all works except for the flash movie running in a "higher layer" than the dropdown menu effectively blocking the view... so that it can't be seen and can't be clicked....

I have tryed applying z-index to both the flash object ... the menu ofcourse.... the <EMBED>-tag... none of it works!!

Please help me....

you won't find a solution that way since flash movies, no matter what the z-index of their layer is, will always be shown on the top. if you want further information visit flash's developers website on

sorry for not being able to provide better news. regards

Thanks for the link firegambler!!! I made the background of the flash movie transparent and &quot;windowless&quot; and now my page is working perfectly.... so thanks again!!
