Embedded compiler with text editor?? 1

I use TextPad to edit all my aspect scripts since you can setup the application to show keywords, operators, strings in different colors. It would be incredibly neat if the compiler could be embedded with this TextPad application, or any other text editor that allows to configure keyword colors.

Has anyone done this? or is there a text editor with the embedded compiler that shows colors?

You can configure one of the tools buttons in Textpad to launch the ASPECT compiler (it's just an exe) and have it compile the current file. At

I have a Word document that another user and I put together to trick out Textpad for use with ASPECT, as well as a couple other ideas on the same page that didn't make the original document.
