embedded attendant will not pick up

Had IPO 9.0_829 Basic switched to IP Office Mode Essential License programmed auto attendant DAY recorded *8401 greeting definitely there dial short code *99 AA:DAY Feature auto attendant get busy. Ring into auto attendant incoming route to AA:DAY line says prealering clearing no answer any ideas. No time profiles so should go to *8401 greetings any ideas
*17 works also in Intuity mode
I have done embedded 25 times. Could cause be switching active system from Basic to IP Office
 
Should not cause an issue like this

Try to create a new auto attendant and be careful with the spelling, no spaces at the end or front and also a colon and not a semi colon which has happened to me a few times when the shift key was not working properly

is your your shortcode *99/AutoAttendant/AA:DAY
do you get silence at this stage.
when you dial *8401 can you replay back the Menu and hear it.

There were some issues a while back on software releases using DAY , try changing the name to MainAA and see it that works.
Recheck your AutoAttendant and make sure you are using the correct one
don't forget to SAVE......


 
Don't use Day for the AA use something else. It was an issue in earlier releases and still might be. Use BusinessHrs for mine.

I agree with teletechman, try another name and retest also as snowman stated make sure your short code is built correctly
 
created 3rd auto attendant with new name used *8403 greeting and it worked (Thanks)
 
You should upgrade your phone system to the latest 9.0 release as well.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
