We have a message recorded in the out of hours location and want to use it in other AA's as well on the same system. Possibly other systems in the chain.

Where would the various AA greetings reside in SD Card Management?

Lets say for example, I want the out of hours from AA1 to be used on AA4. Is this a copy and paste or a delete and upload?

Thanks

If you have the message as a .wav file you can use the build in converter in the Manager to transform it to a embedded VM file.

Hi Intrigrant,

It's not that. Its just the AA message in one Embedded mail location (i.e. morning) that we can to copy to afternoon, evening, out of hours, etc. without re-recording it 3 more times. It's already on the SD, I just wasn't sure if I could located it and then copy and paste it to the other times.

Thanks

If you want it in all 3 time slots there is no point using the 3 greetings, just include it in the menu options prompt and leave the others blank :)

Thanks amriddle01

I still need the answer to the question. It was a professional voice talent.

Thanks!

SD card, Lvmail,AAG.
This is were the AA greetings are stored

If you don't have the original recording in a wav file format, you probably need to call into the system from another IPO with VM Pro and Call Recording, take the resulting wav file and edit it in Audacity, then you can use the LVM utility to convert it and finally upload it to the systems.

Try this, I never tried it but it may work:
Go in Manager into embedded file management.
In the folder lvmail or in a subfolder there you will find .c11 files, select every file and look at the details, the name reflects the use of the file.
Look at the details of the files until you find the file belonging to your AutoAttendant day greeting.
Copy it to the lvlmail\AAG folder.
Restart the SD card, wait a few minutes and then in manager>AA you should be able to select the file from the dropdown box for the AA greetings.
