Greetings,

I have a need to embed an excel sheet into a word document (table). Everything works fine in the embedding part. When I double click to edit the excel it opens but there is a scroll bar for the excel sheet as well as the primary word doc. If you scroll the excel bar around it changes the placement of the embeded document in the original word doc screwing the placement up.

Is there a way to stop the scrolling of the embeded excel document? Or is there a way to scroll but have it not update the embeded documents position and formatting?

This might be a bug in 2003. I have not tried it in 2002.

Thanks
Jason

The only way I can get rid of the scrollbars is to change the settings (tools..options) of the spreadsheet so that it doesn't see the scrollbars or the sheet tabs. When you save it with those hidden, they don't appear when you edit the embedded object.
