Embed images in email!

How can I embed images in the email content using cfmail?

if you set the type of the email message in CFMAIL to HTML, you can then add normal HTML tags into the email message. If you make these images link to the server, like:

<img src=&quot;

http://yourdomain.com/images/etc&quot;>

But that would mean I can't view the images when there is no Internet connection!

I guess I didn't specify that the images can also be viewed even if there are no Internet connection! Sorry!

its been a while but have you ever found a solution to this problem? I too am having the same issue in developing a mail merge program for my company that will be used to send out html newsletters. thankyou
