Embed External Application (Newbie) 1

Does anyone know if it is possible to embed an external application within a form?

I am using an emulation package called Reflection and rather than it open in its own window/size I would like to open using the setting of the form window.

Hope this makes sense.

If you place a web browser control on a form you can use the .navigate property of the control to open files in that browser window. Hope that helps.

Thank you EKelly. Have got the application to run but window/form freezes. Have to stop the code from the stop button in Visual Basic. However, if I run the application from an independent browser it works fine.

Any suggestions?

Rather than using third party software does anyone know of a way of connecting to a Unix server - ie Telnet - but is controlled within the form and not opened in a new window.

I'm not very well versed on Unix but I would imagine that you could use a socket in order to make a connection and communicate. Have a look at this website, it might be some use to you.
