Hi,
Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to forward an attachment also when forwarding an email?

I've looked everywhere and this has escaped me!

Thanks for any help!

Should have inculded the information of Office 2000 Microsoft Exchange Server.

Are you using Outlook, outlook express or something else as your default mail program? Most versions of Outlook will automatically forward the attachment when your forward a message.

You must not fight too often with one enemy, or you will teach him all your tricks of war.

We're using Outlook 2000, not express. We are on an Exchange server, though, I think...sorry, not greatly knowledgeable on that side of things.

Thanks for any help I might get!

We used to have this problem. It only happened when under

Mail Format

Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages - was checked.

I think there was something on Microsofts website about this.

It has been my general experience that in order to forward an attachment, you have to save the attachment to the hard drive, and then attach it to the message you are forwarding, similar to attaching a file to any email.

I have yet to see a better way to handle this, and I have Outlook 2003.
