Emails from smartphone application

Hi There.

I need to send emails from my smart phone application but not using the outlook express interface provided by the phone.

I need it from my custom application.

Has anybody done this before.

Any help will be really appriciated.

Its Orange SPV C500 with Windows CE. I have configured Outlook settings on phone which allows me to send emails from the phone. But i need to write a functionality which will allow user to send emails from the custom application.
