I am sure this has been answered, but I searched and couldn't finad anything. I want to email a report from Access out to salesmen in the field. I tried to use a command button with the wizard but none of the file formats you can choose from bring up the report decent. The excel just brings up the information in table form, and the rest of them just bring over the information. They don't keep any of lines or the company logo. Since the salesmen actually show these reports to the customer, I need it to look like it does here at the company. How can I either save the report as a file that I can attach and will look like the actual report, or just email it out off of a command button from my form? Thanks for the help.

The snapshot format preserves the format perfectly, the only caveat is it requires the free reader that can be downloaded from All the other formats lose formatting/pictures/etc..

Hey Joe,

That is what I was afraid of. Thanks for information. I think that my company will just have to fax the printed report instead. Thanks again!
