Email Notification unavailable

Hi,

I have 2 sites running Backup Exec and i would like to enable email notifications however in the Tools Option the "Email Notification" is greyed out.

Can anyone advise how to activate this option?

Have you configured in Backup Exec the smtp server parameters?

What version of Backup Exec are you using? Try referring to this FAQ that someone wrote:

Hi,

Thanks to those who replied. I am using Backup Exec 7.3 Rev 2371.

The Notification Setup is there however it is greyed out. I have looked throughout all the menu's, schedules and enabling it is no where to be found.

Any help would be appreciated.
