out of many I have one workstation that will not go to hyperlinks in email - displays the "blah blah blah due to restrictions" message. (outlook 2003) This workstation and security settings are identical to all the other systems in my domain and the user is a local admin to his machine. Any help out there... it's driving me nuts.

What is the make and model of the machine in question? What is the default browser and do you have Content Adviser on? Can you browse local shares or the internet on this machine?

lenovo thinkedge, win7 64 bit, IE, content advisor off... can browse local shares and internet.

the computer came with Google Chrome installed on it. IE is our browser of choice. I uninstalled Chrome during initialization as a domain computer. Just for yuks I reinstalled Chrome while keeping IE as my default browser... voila - problem is resolved...

Check in Outlook, I know there is a setting of what browser or what security privileges to set it on but I cant find it in 07 at the moment and don't remember where it is in 03. Look around and Im sure you will find it, or if you are happy with Chrome, just let it go.
