Email ID error in Phone Manager

On several of the workstations this error keeps on appearing:

"Could not retrieve the user email ids from the IP office"

It will appear when the software is 1st opened and then periodically throughout the day while the software is open.

I can't seem to find out why this keeps on occuring. Am using Phonemanager lite v.3.1 and the IPO is v.2.1

Any assistance on this is much appreciated.
 
Down grade the PM software to the correct level for the firmware of the system (or upgrade the system)

I'd guess the error is caused by the version mismatch

First of all you are using the wrong version of PM here, you need to use the right PM with the right core software version.

However the fix for this is the following...........

In registry editor......

Create a New DWord within the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avaya\IP400\PhoneManager

Give it a name of:
VPNEmailListTimeout

Give it a Decimal Value:
Default is 12 seconds up to 60 seconds - I set mine to be 60 Seconds.

Basically PM is looking to download email addresses from outlook but the default is 12 secs. Your PM is not getting the right info in this time period so you need to extend it to give it more time. You cannot turn this off, you can only extend it.
