Hi All,
Is there a way to add email disclaimers with Exchange out of the box? Or do I have to purchase a third party add-on? If so, what is available on the market? I have heard of Mail Essentials, are there any others?
Regards

You can add SMTP disclaimer. There is an article with an event sink if I remember right. Connection too slow to search from home. Dan

as an alternative to mail essentials, I recommend Omniquad MailWall [www.omniquad.com]

I use it as a seperate SMTP server, routing to and from my exchange server, and it works very well. it can add disclaimers and stuff, as well as virus scanning. if you don't have a spare system to run it on, it will run on the same box as exchange, but you need to change it's SMTP port to 26 !

hope this helps.....

In the Exchange 5.5 forum even...Xyber - do you know if it works under 2k?

Well...

You must create a SMTP Event Sink. But it won't work for MAPI mail until you follow this article. Q288756 Dan
