Hello,
I have a customer who is having trouble with email. I have never seen this problem before so I hope someone can help. She gets logged onto the internet and can surf then she can check her mail but then she has to disconnect and reboot the computer before she can send mail and visa versa.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Suzie

So here email is online or does it download to a program !

The email downloads to a program. I thought maybe she was getting disconnected but she isn't, and this wouldn't explain why she has to reboot her computer.

I think we need a little clarification...

Per your original post: Why does she have to disconnect & reboot? - What happens if she doesn't? What mail client is being used?

Does the machine lock up, I am wondering why she has to restart the machine.

What program does she use for the mail client !

The Matrix Has you !

I don't believe her computer is locking up. She said if she checks her mail and then tries to send mail she gets this error 0x800ccc0f. If she doesn't reboot she continues to get this error when trying to send. After she reboots and reconnects the mail in the outbox will send but then she can't receive. This is all the information she gave me on the error. I am trying to contact her to get further information. She is using outlook express. I had her try eudora but she said had same problem and she doesn't like eurdora.
