I have a frontpage .asp form that submits data to an access database. I would like to have an email also sent informing me that the database has been updated by the form. How can I do this? I have the option to send email or to send to a database but not both. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually it will be on an intranet that I will host. The domain uses exchange 2000. Is this something that I will have to put extensions on rather than just the frontpage extensions?

Well you will need some type of ASP form handler. FP e-mail handling does not work on ASP. And you need ASP to dump into a database.

You might have the IT look at: - it is a free component. Otherwise, you can also look @ CDODYS / CDONTS which is a componet that comes with Windows.

You can check this one out: - jsut do not pay any attention to the Upload component.
