Eltron S600 not printing Codesoft labels

Ok, have a new printer to replace an old one with crinkle problems. It is an Eltron S600 Barcode printer that is having problems with Codesoft 6.

We were able to install the newest driver into the printer and then print a test page. But when we tried to print a label in Codesoft it would not print the barcode. It would however print everything else in the label; product, price, etc.

Then, when trying to trying to print a test label, just in case something was corrupted in the file it was taken from...it would not print anything at all; just had product name, bar code and color in the test label.

When trying to see if it was the printer or the software in general, had the guy plug in the old one that was being replaced (I unfortunately do not know what the printer is at the moment as I am trying to solve this for someone else, however if you happen to need it, just ask and I should be able to get that information) and it printed both test labels just fine.


Am hoping someone might know what I am supposed to do to solve this problem. I am guessing it is some stupid little thing I am missing, but seeing as how I have never used Codesoft before yesterday, I am unsure where to go.

Update, the previous printer was actually the same printer. Just being replaced because of the crinkle problems.

We were able to figure it out. In case someone else has a similar problem, it was resolved by using a generic printer driver that was in the Codesoft software as opposed to using the Eltron printer driver.
