Elite phone has green Msg Waiting Light

DTU-8D phone on older Elite system has green message waiting light that is blinking. Phone works. Has to check VM periodically. Rebooting phone did not clear. Note that this is remote location. I did not see it yet.

This sounds like an internal message, station to station. Try dialing the call back delete codes or the callback feature.

Thank You. I found a manual and there is an option for an attendant to send a message by simply lighting up the large Message Waiting Light Green. It has to be done from a 60 btn add on console. There has to be a msg. waiting button on that console. We had trouble finding it because it was on an unmarked key. Pressing the msg. key then a station button toggles it on and off.
