Eliminating the AA Half Ring When Answering

We have recently installed a CallPilot 150 on a Norstar Modular ICS 6.1 with the automated attendent set to answer the lines in 0 rings. Our prime set still gives a half ring before the CallPilot picks up the call. We've also noticed that the half ring still occurs when the prime set is forwarded to another set. Does anyone know of a way to supress that half ring at the prime set, or at least on any sets that it's fowarded to?

Thanks in advance.

Ummm . . . I'd rather not go that route if possible. There have been situations where we've routed calls to the prime set without the automated attendent. I know that setting a low number to DRT to Prime would ensure that we would still get the calls at the prime set if the AA were disabled, but we'd still like the calls to go to the prime set on the first ring if the AA is set not to answer the lines. Other than that, it would solve our problem.

Thanks

that is your only solution. Senk1s knows all. The rest of it will work as you want by default.

Don't forget that if you have CLID cards you will not get the CLID information unless you let it ring at least twice.

If you have Answer DN's on a phone, you have to set the line to Appear Only on the phones associated with those Answer DN's also, or you will still get the short ring.
