I loged into the Element Manager on a BCM400 and it doesn't show anything in programming. I checked the active DN, lines, Telephony Resources and in most areas. The system seems fine functionally but I don't see anything in teh programming. I pulled the EM straight from the BCM and tried previous versions. I just added a patch BCM.R400.SU.SYSTEM.027_BCM_4.0 and now nothing. Anyone see this before. Thanks.

Did u pull EM before or after the patch? What version of EM are u using?

I pulled it after the patch. The version it pulled was 60.3.0. and I'm using 50.10.0.0 and I don't see it either.

Intresting

My version is 61.0.01
But I loaded from the Nortel site.

I thought latest patches would redirect to the site instead of actualy installing the download on the BCM.
Maybe not all patches have this.

Try off the Nortel site.

I have seen this before and it's basically that the telephony services are not up and running. Usually this has to do with a hard drive issue. The first step would be to do a full power down and power up when you can, and make sure that you let it completely boot back to the ready state, and then try and log in using the Element Manager. If you still can't see anything you may need to re-image the H/D.

OK I got it fixed, I found a Q&A on Nortel Website and found that it you go through the telset and go to the maintenance and check the ports 101-132 and look for one that is showing as a 7310, disable and re-enable that port it brings the programming back. You have to be logged off of EM and once you disable and re-enable that port exit the teset programming you can log back in to the EM and it is all back. I did a search for the "BCMCoreUploadProviderAgent" service that was down. Here is the link I found.
