I have a customer with a BCM50, about a year old. They have replaced their computer and want me to load element manager on the new one. I haven't worked much with BCM50 can I download that from the unit? I have been trying to find a link online since I don't have a copy for my laptop.

You can get it from the BCM. Put the ip address of your BCM as the url - it will pull a web page from your BCM that you can down load EM from.

This link
should allow you to download the latest Element Manager tool. Do you know the IP address of the BCM system?.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

All of the documentation and software for BCM50s can be accessed just by web browsing into the BCM50. If internal DNS does not have it registered, you can use the IP address as the URL. It works in Chrome, Firefox, and IE.

Thank you for the help. I will try this on Friday. I can find the IP address from an onsite phone.
