Hi Guys;

has anyone got this to work properly?
I have tried downloading e/m from several different sources and have the latest cartridges. However, I'm unable to use the e/m icon (shortcut).
I must go to the bcm's i.p. and launch e/m from there, which is inconvenient if I'm not connected to a live bcm.

Went from a laptop from the early 80's and told the boss to get me the latest and greatest... apparently it's too great!

Any thoughts, thanks.

Thanks Firebird;
Even after downloading straight from the new 50 I just got, installing the 3 latest patches at Avaya's PEP... I STILL only had 60.0.3! Weird.
Anyways, that still didn't help with my ability to launch element manager! When it's saved, there's a shortcut on my desktop but when I doubleclick it, nothing happens. The shortcut doesn't goto anything. So, I go into the .bcm files and try to launch it right from there but it tells me it doesn't see the java files, but before I could download the new e/m I had to dwnld java?
Any other suggestions, it appears to be an issue with windows 8.

I use the latest Element Manager 62.0.5 on my Windows 7 without any problems.

My desktop shortcut target is C:\Users\David\.bcm\proxy_batch_exec.bat "C:\Users\David\.bcm\BEM\bin" run.bat

and it starts in C:\Users\David\.bcm

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Let me know if it works for you cause I am planning to move to Windows 8.
I am using 62.0.3 with Windows 7. Does this version work with windows 8, anybody tested yet? It is always nice to know before moving to Windows 8.
Otherwise I will using a VM for that.
Thank's

I'm still unable to launch the e/m from my desktop or the .bcm file.
I can see it in there and see the executable file but when I try to launch it I get
"Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from C:Users\Wally\.bcm\BEM\bin.jar"

Mine does not say .bat ?

I'm going to have to try and see if a computer guy can figure this out for me (I am just the dumb phone guy).

As I say though, if I'm connected to a bcm, I am able to launch the Element Manager from there and it works fine.

Hello
Let me know if you manage to get it work or not. As I told you before, I just installed Windows 8 and was able to run Element manager without any problem.
I just copied the .bcm folder from Windows 7 and paste in the new system and execute the run.bat file

Hope that help you. Let me know if you have any other question.
