Electra Elite IPK questions

I have been asked to set up a used Electra Elite IPK (not IPK II) system and I'm having trouble as to where to start. I see that there is software (SAT) to link a laptop up to the unit via a serial port but I don't know where to find that software.
I also am curious as to where you can get training and certification for this product. How intense is the certification process on a scale of Food-handlers-card to CCNA?

Don't bother with the software, they aren't that difficult to program with a phone if you have the docs. Some of the things on them are irritating, such as how you denote a line that has a card but no line attached. I was given one in a box and a 3" binder one morning and had it going by lunch time.

Thanks for the info and I'll forget about the software. I guess my problem is a lack of documentation and I can't seem to find anything that helps me out. Here is all I really need to do... If a call is received after hours, the caller is told "I'm sorry we're closed. Press 1 to be transferred to external number A, Press 2 to be transferred to external number B". I don't have any docs. What I seem to find online is either simple user guides, brochures, or prompts for a certified technician password. I just keep going in circles.
