elan drops on mgc every 2 hours 1

I have a cpmg card functioning as a survivable gateway. Coresident CS,SS and MGC. Every two hours the MGC elan drops and reestablishes within 15 seconds. I have two other cpmg cards that are not having this problem. The Network admin people can not find any problems on the data network. Any Ideas what may be occurring every two hours on that card? It compains about socket errors. Have changed the card, but moved harddrive to new card, not a complete reload and reinstall. Starts with SRPT errors then ELAN errors repeat every two hours. Anyone ever seen this?

Have you tried a different switch port?

Is there something else going on with any other device on the same switch as this MGC on a 2-hr interval?

Finally worked with Avaya and found the problem. The gateway was behind a firewall and keepalive messages were not getting through.

There is a patch for it but it is VO so I needed Avaya to get it.

pardon my high-jacking to this thread, I just wanna know where I can by this ELAN unit? second-hand will do as long as it is still working fine.
