eject by volume pool (and inject into)

Hello Folks,

We're looking to automate some tape ejections for DR/BCP offsiting and we don't currently have Vault.

We have various pools that tapes fall into (MondayOffsite, yearlyOffsite, etc.) and I'm trying to find a way to eject tapes based on particular volume pools so that a script pops out the Monday tapes etc.

Is there a way to do this directly with a command?

If not, I'm open to suggestions as to how to accomplish this.

You can use barcode rules to place the tapes into the proper pool(s)...

it's not getting them into the pools that's really the issue. it's ejecting them once they are there.

unfortunately, constructing rules to manage this and having somebody monitor the usage and availability across our sites rather than just keeping the SCRATCH pool stocked is not something we can devote time/resources to.
