I update HACMP and my update fail with a BROKEN fileset because the bos.rte.security was EFIXLOCKED ...

bos.rte.security 5.3.11.1 COMMITTED Base Security Function
EFIXLOCKED

How can remove the EFIXLOCKED to the bos.rte.security?

(So after, I will re-install my hacmp update...)

Have you tried installp with clean up option?

To Clean Up a Failed Installation:
installp [ -R path ] -C [ -b ] [ -e LogFile ]

See man installp.

If you've tried and it didn't work put here the errors shown (if any).

When I go to smitty and use the option clean up failed installation, i have this:

0503-439 installp: No filesets were found in the Software Vital Product Database that could be cleaned up.

And my HACMP update, the fileset is in the sate BROKEN...

#lppchk -v
lppchk: The following filesets need to be installed or corrected to bring
the system to a consistent state:

cluster.es.cspoc.cmds 5.4.1.7 (BROKEN)

To remove EFIXLOCKED, you have to do emgr -l (to see the LABEL) and emgr -r -L LABEL.

But, I don't know if there is some negative impact to do this... If someone have an idea, please let me know...

So, I still have a BROKEN fileset... Any idea???
