I am working with premiere pro.

When I slow down clips and then render, it turns them smaller than regular clips.

But only until they are rendered, do they change. Any advice??

Thanks a whole lot!

I would have to guess, but maybe the project output settings are for a smaller frame size than the source footage?

Okay so my clips are just showing up smaller than the screen itself.

I would assume then that when I put some effects to certain clips, they go smaller in ratio to the already small (original) clips.

I have not had this problem before using the same camera for the footage.

You don't give nay information that would allow me to try to help.

What are the frame sizes of your project and the affected clips?

Have you applied Motion to any of the affected clips? If so, what is the scale setting? (If clips are bigger than the project and 'automatically scale' is set in preferences, then Motion is applied automatically when you put such clips on the timeline.)
