hi all,

i'm having a lot of difficulty editing sharepoint pages using Frontpage. Does anyone know if there are any good tutorials out there?

thanks

So far I could do everything I wanted in my Sharepoint Portals. However, it's always tricky and you never can find a good 'How to ...' . A tutorial would be nice. Why don't you start with a specific question. What do you want to chieve?

cool... i'll start with the link.

thanks portaleco and thomas2000!!

The links and blogs provided by Thomas are very helpfull when you own the Sharepoint Server or when the owner of the Sharepoint Server is cooperative and installs your templates. Very often the owner of the server is not willing to apply changes to the Sharepoint server setup for all kinds of reasons - lack of time, loosing 'official support' ... . Have a look at Fitz's Blog on the subject.)

This is much like a HOSTED environment where you do not have access to the templates. However, you still can change layouts, graphics or manage Web Parts and libraries using FrontPage. System administrators don't like that very much but you will not depend on system support for every new release of the Sharepoint server. I found it especially useful when creating pages for mobile devices e.g. smartphones (Nokia N70).
