Hello all!

I am using Backup Exec 8.6 and am running into problems editing the selections of a backup job. When I try to select the workstations to back up I have to wait at least 5 minutes to see the contents of the workstation and then another 2-3 minutes to drill down into the file system. Has anyone else run into this problem?

That's normal....BE has to not only go out to the network and find the computers, it has to find the directories on each computer. Along with that, the computers have to check BE's access permissions.

Yes, we have tried to reinstall the backup agent on a few of the workstations. Unfortunately this didn't help. Veritas was not very helpful when we contacted them directly.
