I've done most of editing using "Edit Story". After switching to "Edit Layout" to change some tab positions, I cannot return to the original image where I could click to select a single layer and work with it, or move it as block of text.

Hi, mulletkey,

I don't follow. Are you saying that switching from Edit mode to Layout mode doesn't happen?

What original image? Edit mode is a text editor. Do you have in-line images?

BigJohnD: I realize I can edit from "Edit Story" or "Edit Layout", but once I'm back on Layout View, I've unable to selectively click on and highlight layers. I just learned by accident, that if I save and close that particular book, my default setting return and I'm able to do what I wanted. thanks for responding.

Hi, mulletkey,

You should be OK with Win2K - personally I find it rock solid and the preferred version of windows for PM.
