Dear All,

Our AD domain has been set up with only a site name ie 'mysite' NOT 'mysite.co.uk'. Can anyone please suggest how we may be able to edit the directory to add the .co.uk ?
Believe that we may be able to use adsiedit to ammend this to the sturcture but am not sure. The reason for this is that we are experiencing DNS issues and are not sure if this is causing the problems or not.

Thanks in adv.

Thanks Jgoodman00. Useful info but unfortunately not applicable in this situation. The solution proffered, from what i can see, will require rebuilding AD from scratch, this is what i am trying to avoid, also i do not fully understand the implications of this proceedure on our exch 2k servers.

What i was looking for was a way in which to edit the LDAP directory to include the .co.uk

Anyone any other suggestions.

Nick
